The time limit to complete our programs, either individual or as a group is three (3) months. However, if a student is
taking more than one program, he/she will be granted an additional 30 days to complete the program(s) and this will be
counted from the first day of registration.
If a student is struggling to be able to complete the program or programs within the time limit, the student may request
an extension in writing before the end of the time limit since it began. Time extension requests are submitted for review
and students are notified as soon as decisions have been reached by AFCS reviewers.
When circumstances beyond a student’s control result in the student stopping attendance of his/her program(s), and he/she
wishes to continue either individually or in groups, he/she will have an additional 45 days to complete all programs.
If the student does not complete his/her program(s) within the stipulated time, the student will be removed completely
from the program(s) and shall have no right to a refund or reimbursement for any payments made. Please be aware that
our course pricing and scheduling reflect our attempt to provide a maximum learning experience at a very reasonable
cost.
This program will be offered in English & Spanish and takes place on Saturdays
only.
The Spanish course will be held from 12:00 AM (noon time) to 2:00 PM and the English course will be held from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Both courses are open all year around (anyone can begin at any time). A certificate will be issued at the end of the course completion.
This program is held once a week for twelve (12) consecutive weeks, at our office located in Jackson Heights, NY, Queens County.

They will learn their rights and responsibilities, and avoid further errors, confusion, and/or misunderstanding of your
basic rights stated under the U.S. Constitution. Also, will expand their knowledge about the American History
and become skilled at how the U.S Government works.
This
program offers Bilingual Citizenship classes for individuals who wish to become an American Citizen.
The objectives are:
- Prepare the future Citizen of this nation in the new immigration oral, and writing test. This program also qualifies for those
individuals that prefer to give in their native language (Spanish).
- Learn your rights and responsibilities, and avoid further errors, confusion, and/or misunderstanding of your basic rights that
are stated under the US Constitution.
- Expand your knowledge about the American History, and become skilled at how the US Government works.
- Learn how to pass the Immigration interview and analyze the required documents, common barriers and taboos about USCIS test
(Former INS), and review 100 valid immigration questions.
- We also help to fill out the N-400 form and many other forms.

The National Coalition against Domestic Violence (DV) defines as a pattern of behavior used to establish power and
control over another person through fear and intimidation, often including the threat or use of violence, when one
person believes they are entitled to control another.
Our 12 weeks "Domestic Violence (sometimes called domestic abuse) or Family Violence" workshop
will be offered to parents, caregivers, and anyone who feels that are suffering from Domestic Violence (DV).
During the course of the program, you will learn about DV, types of abuse, safety plans, effects of DV on
Children, signs of domestic violence, etc...
This DV program is also appropriate for those batterers who need to learn, read and practice,
and often have low self esteem, rush in to relationships, are excessively jealous, use negative behaviours
(drugs, alcohol, battering) to cope with stress, and/or have poor communication skills, etc..

Our Entrepreneurs Leadership is intended to inspire citizens and business people to assume
leadership roles in our community. The AFCS Leadership challenges and prepares individuals from diverse
backgrounds to become influencial in determining the future of their business success and our community.
We will try and illustrate to you how to be a leader, what to know about leadership and most importantly
how to lead effectively to create success in your business or organization.
Program Eligibility
Anyone over the age of 18 can participate in the Entrepreneurs Leadership Program, people in the areas of businesses,
public and private organizations. All program participants must have commitment and desire to learn.

Why do I need to learn these techniques? For many important reasons, although you may not be devoted to lecture, you
as a person may be involved in the business world, teaching or public life, and very often have the need of making presentations,
speeches or otherwise, effectively convince people… A team of highly experienced community leaders will lead the sessions to help
you enhance those skills.
