American Family Community Services is a NON PROFIT (501C-3) Organization, its primary purpose is community education, especially the education of adults and ethnic minorities of different nationalities, who have difficulty adapting to the American system in areas of daily life. We understand that immigrants' ignorance of the political system and laws causes them to make mistakes that can become misdemeanors or felonies, and these transgressions can be prevented with systematic instructional programs.
As a result, we expect the inclusion and success of these individuals and families in different personal learning processes, which must include changes in their way of thinking and adaptation to a healthy emotionality and spirituality.

Our History.
American Family Community Services had its beginnings in 1986 when our founder, Rodolfo Flores, started as a volunteer for the New York Chamber of Commerce.
Their goal was to learn different topics that affect our multicultural community, participate and cooperate between the different organizations and develop a project to create a non-profit entity.
From then on, he became very active in New York public affairs. During these years, Flores continued his studies, began his higher education, and obtained his Master's degree in Social Work. His goal was to continue forming what he had left behind, an organization that offers community education programs in non-formal education.

Through AFCS, the idea of the Holistic School of New York (NYHS) was born, for which Flores and his wife worked, invested money, energy and time. A. Flores hopes that he can fulfill his ultimate dream, build an educational company that will offer holistic health education, and write his own experiences as a social worker, instructor, counselor, writer, and speaker.
This story continues, because the stages are burning and we must be at the forefront of new challenges, changes that continue to support the immigrant community in this wonderful country.
